Swap Heatwaves for Woodland Hideaways at Landal’s Newest Belgian Resorts

As travellers continue to swap soaring temperatures for cooler summer getaways, Landal is expanding its portfolio with a host of new destinations across Belgium – where average summer temperatures range from 18°C to 23°C.

From luxury glamping retreats in the Belgian Ardennes to nature-led resorts designed for year-round adventures, these latest openings are meeting the growing demand for slower, more sustainable holidays closer to home.

Highlights include the recently opened Landal Namur Nature, which is now expanding with 70 additional luxury glamping tents, alongside another Ardennes resort, the Landal Resort Val de Bois Durbuy , which is increasing its premium glamping offering to meet rising demand for outdoor getaways with added comfort.

Landal Resort Val de Bois Durbuy, Belgium (Now Open)

Nestled amongst the forests of the Belgian Ardennes, Landal Resort Val de Bois Durbuy is Landal’s newest premium glamping destination, which opened in 2026.

The resort offers luxury safari tents, contemporary lodges and stylish tiny houses, with selected accommodation featuring private hot tubs, barrel saunas and outdoor kitchens, all overlooking woodland and a tranquil fishing lake.

Beyond the accommodation, guests can enjoy family-friendly facilities including a restaurant, Kids’ Club and Nature Experience Area, whilst the surrounding Ardennes offer hiking, mountain biking, kayaking and adventure sports.

Landal Namur Nature, Belgium

Opened in late 2025, Landal Namur Nature is one of the Belgian Ardennes’ newest luxury glamping resorts, combining stylish forest lodges, cottages and safari-style tents with outdoor adventure and easy access to Namur and Dinant (known as the smallest city in the world).

This year, the resort has already expanded with 70 additional glamping accommodations available to book for summer 2026, alongside new attractions including an Adventure Forest, mini-golf, a pump track and an observation tower.

Further planned additions, including a swimming pool, wellness facilities, a restaurant and an indoor play area, will position the resort as a year-round destination for nature-loving travellers.
