Amsterdam (Netherlands) – January 15, 2026 – Landal today announced that Mikael Andersson has decided to step down as Chief Executive Officer after six years with the company. A search for his successor is underway. During the transition period, Chief Transformation & Strategy Officer Martijn Bouquet will assume the day-to-day CEO responsibilities, supported by the broader Executive Team.
Mikael joined Landal in 2019 and has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s transformation and growth. He successfully steered the integration of Roompot and Landal Greenparks, unifying the businesses under the Landal brand, one commercial platform, and one operating model. He also oversaw the establishment of Landal’s international headquarters in Amsterdam and strengthened the company’s position as the clear market leader in the Netherlands.
Mikael Andersson, CEO of Landal, said: “It has been an honour to lead Landal through such a pivotal phase in its history. I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together – from integrating two strong brands into one unified business to reinforcing our leadership position in the Dutch market. Landal has exceptional talent and a bright future ahead, and I will continue to follow the company with great pride. I would like to thank all colleagues and partners for their trust and collaboration over the years.”
Dirk Anbeek, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, commented: “On behalf of the Supervisory Board, I would like to thank Mikael for his leadership and his many contributions to Landal. His vision and dedication have helped build a strong, unified organisation with significant potential for further growth. As we begin the search for a new CEO, we remain fully confident in the strength of our executive team, the continued momentum of the business, and the long-term support of our shareholders as Landal enters its next phase.”
