Landal is expanding its coastal portfolio in The Netherlands with the opening of Landal Zeezigt, a new holiday destination featuring exclusive beach houses located directly on the sandy beach of Petten aan Zee. With 50 beach houses positioned in a unique setting, the park is a distinctive addition to the Dutch coastline from April to October. Landal Zeezigt is now bookable via www.landal.com and will welcome its first guests on 17 April 2026.

Luxury beachfront living

With Landal Zeezigt, Landal meets the growing demand for small-scale, nature-focused stays in exceptional locations. More and more guests are seeking tranquillity, space and a direct connection to nature, without compromising on comfort. The beach houses are situated directly on the sand, offering unobstructed sea views and allowing guests to step straight from their accommodation onto the shoreline or the dunes.

The houses are designed with a strong emphasis on outdoor living. Large windows bring the landscape inside; light tones and natural materials create a Scandinavian atmosphere where simplicity, comfort and warmth come together. The sense of freedom is enhanced by Green Eggs, outdoor kitchens, open-air showers and hanging egg chairs. For dog owners, special pet-friendly houses are available. Dogs are welcome on this part of the beach when kept on a lead.

The surroundings of Petten offer a mix of nature, culture and outdoor activities. Various walking and cycling routes start directly from the park, passing sights such as the Palendorp art installation, the dunes and nature reserve Het Zwanenwater. In spring, the nearby flower bulb fields fill the landscape with colour.

Active guests can enjoy kitesurfing, horseback riding on the beach or paddleboarding at the Camperduin Lagoon. Popular coastal towns such as Callantsoog, Schoorl and Bergen aan Zee are nearby. The historic cities of Alkmaar, Schagen and Hoorn, as well as the artists’ village Bergen, offer culture, museums and local heritage. Haarlem (51 km) and Amsterdam (61 km) are also easily accessible.
